Item upgrade is a method that allows players to boost the power of armor, weapons and trinkets. It also gives players unique procs and effects.

Growthstones
These items are much like the berries in that they boost your attributes forever, but unlike berries, they increase all of your attributes, except HP. Growth Stones are earned through completing certain events in the game, or by combining two of them in the Nitro Cube. You can also receive them as rewards during the Ancient Arena season.
You can apply them to your weapon or armor by visiting the Equipment Enchanting menu. You can also craft these in major towns by visiting various crafter NPCs using the correct recipe. Growth Materials come in different types and can be used to accomplish various objectives. For example, Weapon Growth Stones are used to upgrade weapons, and Armor Growth Stones are used to upgrade armor. Active Skill Growth Books, and Passive Skill Growth Books can be used to improve skills that are passive or active.
These stones resonate with certain human characteristics within you to make them stronger. They don't make you a different or better person, but they can give you a boost to deal with the aspect of your personality that you want to change. It is your responsibility to create any real internal change yourself by changing your attitude towards the thing you want to change. This is the distinction between internal and external growth. Pokemon Unite has recently introduced a brand new item type called Super Item Enhancers. These powerful items will allow players to increase the level of their Held Items until Level 30. However these expensive and rare items are limited in number. Therefore, they need to be carefully chosen to ensure a player can level up the item that will be most helpful in their build.
Item Enhancers are available in the Aeos Emporium for 10 Aeos Tickets per item, but they can also be obtained through the free events Pokemon Unite hosts from time to time. These events in-game specials will distribute Item Enhancers to celebrate the achievement of a certain point or included in a challenge that has the duration of a specific time.
The stats of a majority of items increase linearly when they are upgraded. However the final stats of a Held item may be more than double the value it was when it is at its maximum. For instance, a muscle Band's defense and attack stats are increased by +1 each upgrade it receives up to level 2, and when it reaches 20 it has +15 attack and +7.5% speed.
These Item Enhancers are costly however they are essential for those who want their performance to be maximized in Pokemon Unite. It can be a pain to upgrade all the Held Items to their maximum level however those who are determined and patient will eventually succeed.
